LA Foods purchases retail-sized food and non-food items and sells them to specialty retail outlets such as deep discount stores, thrift stores, “mom & pop” retailers and price-point stores, i.e. 99c or $1.00.
Due to large volume purchases and our agreement to restricted distribution, LA Foods purchases food at substantial discounts. These discounts are then passed on to our specialty retailers.

LA Foods regularly purchases truckload quantities of individual products. Some of these products include close coded and/or time sensitive purchases. But all these purchases offer our customers an opportunity to benefit from our volume-buying savings.
In many cases, the products are national or store brands. In order cases, they are private label products. In either case, LA Foods only offers the highest quality products at the best competitive prices. However, due to significant manufacturer-imposed restrictions, we can only offer our goods to accounts which meet specific criteria.
LA Foods searches for manufacturer over-runs and other excess inventories from both the United States and internationally. Of the hundreds of products identified for purchase each week, LA Foods purchases approximately 5% of items available.
